The Shatra Punjab<\/strong> administration is limited to photo sessions only, more than 1,000 government and private employees are busy cleaning roads only, garbage reigns in neighborhoods and streets, according to the details, instead of investing crores of rupees in the Shatra Punjab project of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif,<\/p>\n

The contractors have started filling their pockets instead of investing the funds worth crores of rupees in the project.<\/p>\n

In order to show the officers and the public, more than 1,000 employees have been deployed day and night only for cleaning famous roads, while filth depots and garbage heaps are still standing in densely populated areas, from where the residents’ breathing has also become miserable due to the stench and bad smell emanating from them.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, the contractors of Shatra Punjab have only made photo sessions for cleaning famous roads a routine.<\/p>\n

Residents of densely populated areas such as Mastan Shah, Pathanistan, Islamia Colony, Hussainabad, Khawaja Colony, Gulshan-e-Umar, Tabi Laran,<\/p>\n

Haseeb Town, Habib Colony, Zafarabad, Bhutta Colony, Basti Pir Shaheed, Iftikhar Hussain, Shahzad Ahmed, Muhammad Khalid, Irshad Khan,<\/p>\n

Muhammad Yunus, Ahsan Khan, Zain Khan and others told the media that the common people are not getting any special benefit from the Clean Punjab project because the sanitation staff does not come to their areas in large numbers,<\/p>\n

Due to which the streets turn into piles of garbage. Similarly, Clean Punjab has invested crores of rupees and installed garbage collection vehicles,<\/p>\n

But these vehicles also disappear after collecting garbage from only a few streets, and thus, embezzlement is being done on a daily basis in the form of oil used in the vehicles,<\/p>\n

Which includes the administration, supervisors and other like-minded people of Clean Punjab and are gaining personal interests.<\/p>\n

The residents further said that the Clean Punjab project has become just a photo session because empty plots in densely populated areas are still being turned into filth depots and thus neither the vehicles of Clean Punjab come nor the cleaning staff come.<\/p>\n

The residents are worried about the stench and bad smell due to garbage lying in their houses for many days.<\/p>\n

The contractors of this project have taken the contract to clean a few famous roads three times only to please their officers.<\/p>\n
